Happy Day 18, Mama’s!!!
So today is Day 18 and September 26th. When I looked at the date this morning, I couldn’t believe it! Where is the time going this year? September is almost over and October is almost here! It will have been a whole year since I started this blog! It seems like it just flew by. Just a year since I took all the kiddos to the pumpkin patch and Sammy was so little that he was still in the pumpkin seat but this year he will be running around with the rest of the kids. In a month it will be Halloween. There is a post where I have a picture of myself dressed up with the kids and I just remember feeling so horrible in that picture and my legs and feet hurt so much from trick or treating that night because I was so out of shape. I think I might wear the same exact same costume and recreate that picture so we can see how much we all have changed since last year. It seems like it was just January and I was doing that 1st day of TurboFire. Chalene’s 20 minute workout and it felt like I was going to die! That seems like it was just yesterday. It has been a really good year though. I set a lot of goals for myself at the end of 2017 and I know there are some that I haven’t reached yet and some that I have knocked out the park. There are some more to be added as well. I want to try so many things. Life is too short to not be out there living it! I feel like Beyonce’ at the beginning of her Hold Up video where she lists all the the things she was doing. My list is much more positive though. Wanna hear it? Well here it goes! 😛
I started a blog, I started a Facebook page, I created an Instagram account, I flew to Vegas, I took the kids to Adventuredome for the first time, I got a new job, I crocheted a blanket, I started to workout, I lost 30 lbs, I tried yoga, I realized I sucked at yoga, I became Vegan, I quit smoking, I flew to Florida, I took the kids to Disneyworld for the first time, I took the kids to Six Flags, I flew to California, I took the kids to the beach for the first time, I flew to New Jersey and visited my family, I got a Beachbody Coach, Thought about becoming a Beachbody coach, I decided to commit to my blog more, I started a new workout commitment, I started to blog about it, Started thinking that this is what I want to do for a living and this is who I want to be when I grow up, I started living my best life!
It seems like I was just non-stop moving this year! Like I was doing so much and having so much fun but trust and believe me when I tell you, I had plenty of time for the couch and Netflix! lol
Yesterday was Day 18 and I did HIIT 25 and Stretch 10. I really love how Chalene leads her classes. She is always talking and motivating and keeping you hyped up and going. The class also keeps you hyped as well. It’s like I’m really there with them. I would definitely be in the back of the class at this point but I would be there none the less. I feel like my jumps are getting better. Sometimes it feels like I’m wearing lead shoes but yesterdays workout had a lot of jumping jacks and flying jumping jacks and even some Sumo squats. There have been sumo squats in other workouts as well but I always modify and just doing jumping squats. This time I actually did the sumo squats! I felt the muscles in my lower abdomen when doing them. Even though I hated it, I DID IT!! I even did all of the flying jumping jacks and jumping squats! I was killing it!! Today is Fire 55 EZ Class and Stretch 10. I am so glad it is not a hit class but I think there are like 3 HIIT drills in this video so I am not looking forward to that. I am, however, looking forward to the results! That is what keeps me going back for more… everyday… day in and day out! I am trying to stop being so obsessed with the scale and focus more on the physical results. For a little while I had become obsessed with weighing myself every single morning. That is why I decided to only weigh myself every 2 weeks. I definitely want to see the progress so that is why I am taking the pictures. I hate pictures so that part was and is really challenging for me but sometimes the changes are so small that you don’t see them until you put all of those pictures side by side. Then you see it! I can’t wait!
Well all for today. See you guys tomorrow. Hope you guys workout with me tonight or this morning or whenever. Don’t forget to subscribe to get instant notifications of new blogs. Thanks, Mama’s!!! <3
