After practicing my single stitch and double stitch and watching a few YouTube videos I think I’ve finally got it! After watching the videos several tutorials I have learned a few things. It seem that most projects either contain a single stitch or a double stitch and definitely a slip knot at some point. So I decided to practice these stitches alone for a night. I think I can actually say I know how to crochet. I even made a scarf for my daughter and son and I even took a whack at cross stitching a pattern into a scarf I made. Since cancer has been weighing so heavily on my mind I decided to make a couple of cancer awareness scarves.
I wish I had more time to crochet though. With work and the holidays and spending time with my lovable little squishies aka my little bad ones, I don’t have as much time as I thought I’d have. Never the less, I will keep on pushing. I will keep working my hardest to do it all and have it all! I am a dreamer after all! 😉
In October I learned to crochet so I think in January I will learn to knit.
